Tianjin Maolian Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Tianjin Maolian) was established in March 2010 with a registered capital of 883 million. It is a national high-tech enterprise focusing on the research and development and production of new energy power battery raw materials. The company made a strategic transfer in 2016 and moved to Nangang Industrial Zone. The new plant covers an area of about 450 acres and has more than 800 employees. It is the core production base for the vertical integration of the three major sectors of resources, refining and materials.
Tianjin Maolian adheres to the two-wheel drive development concept of resources and technology. In terms of resources, the company is actively extending to upstream resources. At present, it has mastered 190,000 tons of copper and 120,000 tons of cobalt resources in Zambia. In terms of technology, the company has continuously strengthened its own technological innovation, and has applied for a total of 75 patents, and relies on domestic leading nickel sulfide. , high nickel matte processing technology, industry-leading slag heap extraction technology with leaching rate, and comprehensive ternary precursor material production technology, forming a complete new energy lithium power battery upstream industrial chain technology system.
Tianjin Maolian has successively been rated as Tianjin Enterprise Technology Center and High-tech Enterprise, authorized by Central South University as an “industry-university-research” cooperative unit, and the company’s wastewater treatment project has been rated as “National Water Pollution Control and Treatment Science and Technology Major Project Demonstration Project”.
Taking this advantage, Tianjin Maolian has formed a strategic concept of vertical integration based on the three major sectors of resources, refining and materials: upstream Zambia resources will form an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of copper and 7,000 metal tons of cobalt; domestic refining sector will form an annual output of 120,000 tons The production capacity of 10,000 tons of nickel sulfate and 20,000 tons of cobalt sulfate will ultimately guarantee the annual production capacity of ternary precursor materials of 100,000 tons, becoming a leading enterprise in domestic new energy lithium power battery materials.
